Mighty Macs Compete At PAC Championships
Immaculata University women's cross country team competed at the 2007 Pennsylvania Athletic Conference (PAC) Championships on Saturday, October 27. The championships were held at the Belmont Plateau in Philadelphia, PA.
Junior Corey Phillipeck placed 34th with a time of 26:33, while sophomore Mary Pat Mauer recorded a time of 26:47 to finish 38th. Freshman Endurance Poku-Maboah (28:39) and junior Meghan Wood (29:03) placed 49th and 50th, respectively. Senior Ruth Tarazona rounded out the scoring for the Mighty Macs with a 53rd-place finish (29:40).
Alycia Tranchitella from Gwynedd-Mercy College won the individual championship with a time of 20:19.
As a team, Immaculata totaled 168 points to place sixth overall.
