Bob Bush

Head Coach

Bob Bush has completed his first season as head coach of the Immaculata University men's lacrosse team.  In their inaugural season, the Mighty Macs recorded a mark of 0-11 overall and a record of 0-7 in the Pennsylvania Athletic Conference (PAC).

Immaculata hosted Manhattanville College in it first-ever game.  Sophomore Geoff Lorentz scored the first goal in school history, while freshman Tim Flanigan added the first assist.

Several of Bush's players were cited for their outstanding work during the 2007 season.  Freshman goalkeeper Andrew Sim was selected Second Team All-PAC and was a member of the All-PAC Academic Team.  Sophomores Bobby DeYoung, Alex Hughes-Taylor and Eric Royar also joined Sim on the All-PAC Academic Team.  Hughes-Taylor also received the Push the Rock All-PAC Sportsmanship award.

Bush has years of experience in coaching lacrosse.  His lengthy resume includes time spent as the head coach at Haverford High School, and an assistant coach at Swarthmore College.  Bush has also been extremely active in the US Lacrosse Coaches Education program.

"It is very exciting to be involved in the beginning of the men’s lacrosse program at a University that has had such a great tradition of athletic and academic excellence,” Bush said.  “The University’s commitment can be seen in the building of the new state-of-the-art stadium, and in the expansion plans for student and campus life.  Having such a beautiful campus should be very appealing in recruiting student athletes who can compete at a high level in the classroom and on the field.”

Bush is a member of the Board of Directors of the Philadelphia Lacrosse Association, and he also serves on that organization’s Hall of Fame selection committee.
