Immaculata Residential network policy requires that all the necessary windows updates available at Microsoft's website are installed on your computer in order to have internet access. This policy is enforced through Clean Access Agent. As soon as new updates are available for your operating system (Windows XP/2000) you will to be redirected to Microsoft’s website to download them. Please keep in mind that this process can occur several times during the course of a semester and does not mean that you have a problem. Simply follow the procedure and download the required updates in order to gain internet access. If you are having trouble accessing the internet even if you have downloaded the updates, call the Help Desk at ext 1234. If you are unable to download updates, try again after some time. Microsoft's website might be experiencing heavy network traffic when you try to download updates. If you have questions call call the Help Desk at ext 1234. |
