Disabling Windows Firewall
The Clean Access Agent is required to be installed on all residential computers in order to have internet access. Every time you turn your computer on, the Clean Access log in screen will come up. If the Clean Access screen does not come up you cannot login to Clean Access and thus cannot log onto the internet.
When you try to login using the icon in the system tray in the lower right hand conrner of your screen the following errors occurs: Clean Access server is not available on the network This happens because of a firewall present on your computer. To resolve this issue
- Disable your windows firewall. "How to disable Windows firewall".
- Uninstall third party firewalls. "How to uninstall third party firewalls".
- Restart your computer
