Reference Librarian

The Reference Librarian staffs the reference desk, provides general library assistance, and assists patrons in accessing online information resources. Immaculata University, located 20 miles west of Philadelphia, PA, is a private Catholic comprehensive institution serving approximately 4000 students in its undergraduate and graduate colleges.

Position: Reporting to the President and working collaboratively with other members of a enthusiastic executive team, the Vice President for Institutional Advancement is responsible for overseeing all fundraising activities, leading a team of professionals and volunteers focusing on annual giving programs, corporate/foundation and government relations, alumni affairs, planned giving, prospect management, public relations and marketing, and a major gifts program in support of a capital and endowment funding.

Qualifications: The position requires a high level of energy and strong leadership skills to improve and expand the advancement program and to explore untapped opportunities. The candidate must be able to build successful multi-faceted development programs and operate within a dynamic institution experiencing growth and change within every segment of the organization.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of five years of development leadership experience preferably in the academic environment. Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.

The Director is a member of the student affairs staff reporting directly to the Dean of Students. The Director is responsible for the development of a comprehensive commuter and residence life program focused on community development, housing occupancy and operations, civic education, academic integration and the development of individual students.
