Institutional Research Planning and Effectiveness Research Assistant

Position: 20 hours a week; Fall and Spring Semesters

Job Duties: Reports to the Director of Institutional Research, Planning, and Assessment and works in collaboration with grad and undergrad work-study.

Job Description: You will be providing administrative and clerical support, event planning, and management support for the Office of Career Development. This will include assisting with events and programming, researching event ideas, assisting with the compilation of all program evaluation data and reports, assisting with the organization of the online project management, and other essential duties and responsibilities as stated by your supervisor.

Job description: You will be providing videography and blogging for the Office of Career Development for career development events, maintenance of the Career Development webpage and other online resources/sites, and support project work with career activities and programming.

Job Description: You will be providing creative, design, graphic and visual communications support for the Office of Career Development. This will include creating designs, concepts and sample layouts, helping develop marketing tools (i.e. posters, social media postings, etc.)

Athletics Event Staff

Positions: non-traditional hours; includes weekends and evenings

Required Skills: Well-rounded knowledge of athletics; willingness to participate in job training

Job Description: You will be covering sporting events including: tracking participation, statistical keeping, scoreboard and clock operating, videographers and photographers. You also may be writing press releases, completing game programs, maintaining websites and schedules, archiving files, maintaining statistics, and posting releases.

Sports Info Assistant

Positions: non-traditional hours; includes nights and weekends; most (if not all) home events for the sport(s) they are covering

Required Skills: Writing/Editing skills; Detail-oriented; Understanding of sports assigned; Experience with camera, video equipment, and Adobe products; willing to do statistical training

Job Description: You will assist in recording/tabulating statistics at home athletic events and serve as a photographer/videographer during events. You will also be responsible for writing, editing, and publishing recaps for home/away athletic events.

Athletics Sports Broadcaster

Positions: non-traditional hours; includes weekends and evenings

Required Skills: Knowledge of the sports they are announcing, previous sports announcing experience (preferred)

Job Description: You will serve as a play-by-play and/or public address announcer at the athletic events and assisting in the set-up and break-down of equipment at the athletic events. Events include: Soccer, field hockey, volleyball, basketball, lacrosse, softball, and baseball.
