Immaculata University's Student Employment Program offers employment opportunities to students seeking additional financial assistance, research opportunities, and resume building. Students are strongly encouraged to seek positions that provide experience for future educational or career goals. Immaculata University does not place students in work-study positions. Instead, students are free to apply for whichever position(s) they prefer.
There are multiple employment programs offered at Immaculata University. The two primary programs include the Federal Work-Study Program and the Institutional Student Employment Program. Although eligibility requirements differ for each program, students interested in employment are encouraged to apply for the position they desire most. The Office of Financial Aid will make every effort to assist students in meeting the eligibility guidelines for employment.
The Federal Work-Study program is funded, in part, by the federal government and is based on demonstrated financial need. Students eligible for Federal Work-Study may work in on-campus positions, or off-campus community service events.
This program provides work-study earnings to students who do not qualify for the Federal Work-Study program. Students with Institutional Student Employment may be hired to work in any of the regular student worker positions on-campus. However, they are not permitted to earn their award while participating in community service events.
