Academic Scholarships & Grants

Presidential Scholarship

This scholarship is awarded to a select number of students with a record of academic excellence. Students are evaluated on the basis of GPA, class rigor, standardized test scores, class rank (if applicable) and recommendations. All students who meet the criteria for the Presidential Scholarship will be invited to interview with the Scholarship Committee.
  • Five scholarships are awarded annually
  • First-time freshmen applicants only
  • Amount equal to annual full-time undergraduate tuition
  • Students must maintain a 3.25 GPA for the scholarship to be renewed each year
  • Admission deadline: January 15
 
Priority for the awarding of scholarships and grants will be given to applicants submitting their complete application for admission on or before January 15th.
 

Dean’s Scholarship

This scholarship is awarded to students on the basis of GPA, class rigor, standardized test scores, class rank (if applicable) and recommendations.
  • Open to freshmen, transfers and international students
  • Range is from $12,500 to $16,000 
  • Students must maintain a 3.0 GPA for the scholarship to be renewed each year.
 

NSF Grant

An NSF grant supports the STEM Scholars Program for students seeking to complete their undergraduate degrees in biology, chemistry, mathematics, or computer science.

  • Open to full-time transfer students with at least 48 transferable credits
  • Range is from $5,000 to $10,000 per year
  • Students must maintain a 3.0 GPA for the scholarship to be renewed each year.

 

Faculty Recognition Scholarship

This scholarship is awarded to students after review by the Scholarship Committee. GPA, test scores, class rank and recommendations are used as the basis for review.
  • Open to freshmen, transfers and international students
  • Range is from $7,000 to $12,000 
  • Students must maintain a 2.5 GPA for the scholarship to be renewed each year.
 

Leadership Scholarship

This scholarship is granted to students who demonstrate leadership through activities in school, sports and within the community. A résumé of service and leadership must be submitted along with the application packet in order for a student to be considered.
  • Awarded to 20 students and open to both freshmen and transfers
  • $2,500 per year
  • The award is renewable annually provided that students participate in activities during their four years at the University.
 

IU Grant

This grant is offered to students after application review and acceptance to the University.
  • Open to freshmen, transfers and international students
  • Range is from $5,000 to $6,500 
  • Students must maintain a 2.0 GPA for the grant to be renewed each year
 

IHM Liaison Grant

Grants of $1,000 per year are awarded to freshmen students who have been recommended in writing to the University by a designated IHM liaison from their high school.
 

Alumni Endorsement Grant

This award will be given prior to enrollment to any entering full-time day student who has the Alumni Grant form signed by an alumnus or alumna of the University by March 1st. This is a $1,000 one-time only grant and is available to both freshmen and transfers. Alumni grant forms can be found here or by contacting the Office of Admission.
 

Family Grant

This award will be granted to siblings who are enrolled in Immaculata University simultaneously in a full-time day undergraduate degree programs. A 10% reduction in tuition will be granted to each student.
