The office of the Dean of Students exists to create a University community that is student centered and welcoming. In creating a student centered community, the Dean of Students and his staff must create and encourage the creation of programs, policies, and procedures that are student friendly, are easy to understand and process, and strengthen student growth and development. In addition, the staff must be receptive to student advocacy and recommendations.
Be Responsible – As young adults you are engaged in a vibrant community enriched with history and tradition. You will gain your education in the classroom, in the residence halls, on the athletic fields, and among your friends and peers. Make strong, sensible decisions that support your academic goals and your growth and development.
Challenge Yourself – As you find yourself surrounded by new ideas and people – some of whom will be different than you – take the opportunity to learn more about them and their ideas and you will broaden your own. As adults, we all find ourselves lost, afraid, or unsure from time to time, but as you face these challenges, the Immaculata community will support and guide you.
Grow – if you complete the first two, this one will be achieved.
