Continuing Education

Welcome to the College of LifeLong Learning web site for Continuing Education Programs. Here you will find information on admission, academic programs, courses, tuition, credit for prior learning, and much more. We invite you to learn more by using the Continuing Education (CE) flyout menus located in the left hand navigation.

The Continuing Education offerings within the College of LifeLong Learning fulfill the educational needs of full- and part-time students who are entering college for the first time or who are returning after a period away from college. CE students can

• earn an associate or baccalaureate degree
• obtain teacher certification
• fulfill a certificate program in a special area
• update their knowledge and skills
• enrich their personal lives

Students enrolled in a Continuing Education program at Immaculata University can choose from among the same majors as students in the College of Undergraduate Studies. While some of the traditional degrees are offered primarily during the day, those directed toward working adults provide course work in the evenings and on weekends. There are many majors that can be completed in the evening. Some of the most popular ones include

• Information Technology/Computer Science
• Music Education
• Music Therapy
• Education Certifications
• School Nurse Certification
• Registered Nurse Partnership Program with the Brandywine School of Nursing

Most CE courses are taught in the traditional semester-based format. But CE courses are also offered in non-traditional time frames. A number of three-credit courses can be completed in 7 weeks, and one-credit courses in a weekend. Online Courses offer further flexibility.
