Position Description for Membership in Immaculata University’s
President’s Council
- Participate in one of our three Task Forces (see attached)
- Participate in at least one of two annual meeting and/or conference calls when scheduled
- Generate and help explore ideas of how the Council can better partner with the regional corporate community
- Help the President’s Council recruit new members and grow the Council to where we can become a viable educational resource in the tri-county region
- Commitment of a gift of at least $500 to Immaculata University sometime between the University’s fiscal year of July 1 through June 30
Membership and Membership Responsibilities
Members will be selected on the basis of their standing and influence in for-profit and non-profit sectors, and their commitment to further the educational mission and goals of the University. An ideal level of membership will be established. As advisors to the President and Campaign leaders, the Council will focus on securing financial commitments for the Campaign and unrestricted Annual Fund. Specifically Council members will be asked to:
1. Advance the reputation of Immaculata University among prospective corporate donors.
2. Assist in an annual solicitation of corporate and/or foundation prospects
3. Report on progress with various prospects at quarterly meetings with campaign leadership
4. Attend (to be announced) meetings a year to receive campus and Campaign updates
5. Alert the University to new strategic funding opportunities within the corporate community and advise on how best to realize these opportunities.
