Physical Education Requirements

A total of two credit hours (EXS 101) and two contact hours is required for graduation. It is suggested that all contact hours be completed during the freshman and sophomore years.

• Personal Fitness and Wellness (EXS 101) - 2 credits
• Contact Hours: These may be selected from areas of lifetime sports and activities, dance, and intercollegiate sports.

Students with permanent medical excuses must complete two contact hours in areas recommended by the department and the student's physician.

Students may earn one of the two required physical education hours through participation on Immaculata's intercollegiate teams.

Students not enrolled in the College of Undergraduate Studies pay a fee per contact hour (plus any additional fees) for elective or required Physical Education Courses.
