M.A. Nutrition Education with Focus on Wellness Promotion

This option is designed for individuals from a variety of health and human performance disciplines who wish to add nutrition and wellness counseling expertise to their existing professional practices. The program provides a foundation in nutrition science, counseling and education skills, and practice-based research, combined with a range of elective course choices. The number and variety of elective choices allows the student to obtain a master's degree in Nutrition Education that is tailored to the individual's background and goals.

Candidates are required to complete a 45-credit program consisting of the Core Requirements (9 credits) and the following concentration requirements and program electives.
