School Nurse Certification Program

Approved by the Pennsylvania Department of Education, the School Nurse Certification enables baccalaureate-prepared nurses to practice holistic health care in school environments. The required education courses may be completed at the graduate and/or undergraduate level. Applicants must have a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from an accredited institution.

Requirements for Certification

  1. B.S.N. degree from Immaculata University or other NLN approved program.
  2. Completion of the required courses. A description of the courses required for the School Nursing Certificate can be viewed by selecting Required Courses.
