MUSIC 300 COURSE DESCRIPTION:

Throughout this cross-cultural course, students investigated the acceptance and recognition of outstanding women musicians, composers, and performers from Biblical times through the present. Topics included women from Western and nonwestern cultures. Students were encouraged to relate the research to their personal interests and academic curricula.

This website contains the powerpoint presentations of women who were researched individually by members of this class. Many of the presentations have comparisons to women studied within the class.
