Academic Interests
I strive to facilitate learning by providing "courses that click." As an IT professional, and an educator, I like to incorporate information technologies into my courses so that they are both "high tech and high contact." The latest information, and computer technology, is applied to enhance my teaching techniques, facilitate student learning, and increase communication and interaction amongst the instructor, the learner, course peers, and web-accessible resources. I bring over 20 years of experience in applying IT in industry, into my teaching. I continually renew my knowledge of new technologies and approaches in my key areas of interest:
- Instructional desktop technologies
- Participatory Software Design and Development
- IT Strategic Planning
- Reengineering of work processes through IT
- Multi-media communications
- computer networking
- 'Emerging Technologies
