Culminating in a Bachelors of Science (B.S.) degree, our programs prepare graduates for licensure/credentialing through state of the art clinical preparation at leading teaching Hospitals who partner with Immaculata University in this training.
According to a recent cover article in Business Week (Sept. 2006), jobs in healthcare services have increased by 1.7 Million since 2001. As the largest employment sector after government, healthcare is projected to add jobs off into the future as far as experts can predict. Allied Health professionals are in top demand, and our graduates are typically employed immediately upon graduation. And they are well compensated!!! The preparation in core science and critical thinking permit our graduates preferential treatment in these fields which are filled with professionals who may be trained but not educated We understand that in addition to technical training, young professionals need to be able to think and create, collaborate and compromise, problem-solve, communicate, and act. We anticipate that our graduates will assume leadership roles early in their careers, and they are prepared accordingly.
