Bachelor's of Science - Clinical Laboratory Scientist

The Health Care Sciences and Services department of lmmaculata University
offers a degree program in Allied Health with a specialization in Clinical
Laboratory Science. Clinical Laboratory Scientists are scientists who perform
laboratory tests on blood, body fluids and tissues. The results of these tests
are used in diagnosis and treatment of disease, maintaining health, drug
monitoring, organ transplantation and forensic medicine. Upon successful
completion of the program and a national certifying exam, graduates are
prepared to enter the health field as entry-level clinical laboratory scientists.
The Program is accredited by the National Accrediting Agency for Clinical
Laboratory Sciences.
