School Psychology Certification Only
Certification in School Psychology requires that students demonstrate skill and competency in areas related to the practice of school psychology. The certification program requires both preparation in mental health counseling and school-based intervention, including testing and consultation. There are mental health practica and a school psychology internship that lead to the integration of knowledge and skills. Graduates are prepared to work in diverse multidisciplinary school settings.
Students who are seeking only certification in School Psychology take these courses unless waived through transcript review. All applicants must hold a master's degree.
