Cue and Curtain Players
The dramatic club at Immaculata dates from the first years of the college and has undergone many changes through the decades. Today, the players produce two plays each year: the fall play may be either a drama or a musical and the spring play is the annual Children’s Theatre production. Other activities such as Readers Theatre and One-Act plays are scheduled as time permits. Students participate as writers and directors as well as actors and technical crew. The club is affiliated with Alpha Psi Omega, a national dramatic fraternity, to which members may be nominated as a recognition of their activities.
The Eventurers is a student club that supports and coordinates attendance at cultural events by Immaculata students. Each year club members attend local theater productions, performances of the Pennsylvania Ballet Company, and, at times, Broadway shows.
