Careers in Biology
Immaculata science majors are prepared for technical positions in academic, industrial, government research and quality control laboratories and field stations. Science majors who also develop good writing skills expand their opportunities for careers such as work in scientific publishing and abstracting. Science graduates with teaching certification find excellent positions in middle and high schools.
The science programs provide excellent training for students intending to continue their studies in graduate and professional schools in preparation for entering the ranks of the top professions of professors, principal investigators, physicians, veterinarians, etc.
Salary Ranges
Graduates of our programs can expect $20,000 - $40,000 per year, depending on field of entry. With additional graduate or professional education, the top end of the range can be extended considerably.
