Immaculata University is offering a Summer Writing Institute for sophomores, juniors, and seniors in high school who want to prepare for college-level writing while engaging in a community of enthusiastic writers. This two-week program is available from July 6, through July 17, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. (Monday through Friday) on the campus of Immaculata, near Malvern, PA.
Beginning this Fall, Immaculata University is offering its accelerated bachelor's degree in Business Management at the University Center @ Manor College. A new cohort of students will be accepted for classes starting in August 2015.
Immaculata University student Nicole Caromano '16 of Collegeville, PA, was selected for the Pennsylvania Family and Consumer Science (PAFCS) 2015 Undergraduate Scholarship. Caromano is a Family and Consumer Science major with a minor in Entrepreneurship. She is also co-president of the Immaculata Family Consumer Science Club.
Immaculata University student Anne Marie DeCarolis '17 of Nottingham, PA, was awarded the "Philly's Future" Scholarship from the Philly Ad Club, a trade association of advertising, media, creative, marketing, and public relations professionals in the Greater Philadelphia area. DeCarolis, a marketing management and business management dual major, was one of seven students in the Philadelphia area selected for the scholarship in recognition and reward for her outstanding student achievements in the advertising and communication arena.
Starting this fall, Immaculata University will offer a new major in Interactive Digital Media (IDM) leading to a Bachelor of Science degree. Students will benefit from an equal balance of both the technical aspects of digital media and the creative design that is rarely offered in one major.
Immaculata University will hold its 91st Commencement ceremony on Sunday, May 17, at 1:30 p.m. on the campus of Immaculata University. The president of Immaculata University, Sister R. Patricia Fadden, IHM, Ed.D., will confer degrees on 867 graduates.
